Thousands of small resist-dyed points create the characteristic raised texture and subtle tonal variations of shibori, giving the red silk remarkable depth when viewed up close.

There are no major stains or noticeable damages.
Traditional white basting stitches called shitsuke ito remain in some areas. These temporary stitches were used to help preserve the garment’s shape during storage and can be gently removed before wearing.
