Vintage Japanese black silk haori featuring a subtle tone-on-tone ryusui, or flowing-water, motif woven across the fabric.
The black-on-black design becomes more visible as the silk catches the light, giving this understated haori depth and movement without losing its minimal character. A pale blue lining provides a soft contrast inside.
Originally designed to be worn over kimono, a haori can also be styled easily with contemporary clothing such as dresses, knitwear, shirts, or denim.
