Vintage Japanese black silk haori featuring an all-over jacquard pattern of delicate blossoms and flowing branches.

The tonal design reveals itself subtly as the fabric catches the light, giving the deep black surface texture and depth while maintaining an elegant, understated appearance.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.
The outer fabric is beautifully preserved, with no noticeable stains, holes, or structural damage.
Traditional white basting stitches called shitsuke ito remain in some areas. These temporary stitches were used to help preserve the garment’s shape during storage and can be gently removed before wearing.
